For Maris Piper we are looking for a full-time / part-time Demi Chef de Partie (m/f). Maris Piper is a high-end brasserie located in a beautiful corner building at the Frans Halsstraat in the lively district 'De Pijp'. The restaurant is open from noon, and offers dinner in cozy cabins, romantic tables for two and a fireplace.

Maris Piper is a subsidiary of The BREDA Group. The BREDA Group is the company behind Restaurant BREDA, Klein BREDA, Maris Piper, The Noodle shop and Pita. All these companies are under guidance of Freek van Noortwijk, Johanneke van Iwaarden and Vagarsh Mogatseljan.

Job Description

  • You will be the right-hand person to our head chef;
  • you are responsible when the chef or sous-chef is not present;
  • the kitchen prepares lunches and dinners. You must therefore be flexibly employable ; You must therefore be flexibly employable.
  • together with the head chef, you ensure both organisational and emotional peace in the kitchen. Therefore, you should also be organized and calm;
  • you actively contribute to a plan to achieve our ambitions.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge of cooking techniques;
  • knowledge of products/ingredients and (the composition of) the menu;
  • willingness to take on any task;
  • not satisfied with average performance;
  • won't stop until the job is done;
  • takes responsibility for own work.
